HOME EDUCATION
Our bright and knowledgeable teacher, coupled with our small class sizes make for the perfect learning environment. We aim to inspire students every day, and light the maths fire inside of them with our fun, interactive lessons. We know we can help build your child’s confidence and talent in the subject from the very first lesson.
We are the mathematics experts, and have a proven track record in helping students excel in the subject. With many post-16 options now regularly requiring a grade 4 minimum in the subject, we are here to help your child secure that with confidence. Whilst we agree that exam results are not the most important aspect of a child’s education, we know that achieving a solid qualification in mathematics can open up a whole world of opportunity.
One natural benefit to homeschooling is that your child may be working at a different level to their age, so together we can select the most appropriate pathway (including resits). Limited places available, please enquire now to enrol in September 2022.

WHY CHOOSE US?
Study at The School of Mathematic Excellence
HIGH QUALITY TEACHING
ENGAGING LESSONS WHICH INSPIRE
PROVEN RESULTS IN EXAM YEARS
S.o.M.E is run by an experienced qualified maths teacher, whose roles have most recently encompassed 2nd in Department for Mathematics and Head of Year 11. This in depth knowledge of the both the subject and important exam year, has allowed her students to thrive both in and out of the classroom on the road to Year 11.
The primary aim for every masterclass or lesson, is to engage and excite pupils. We have a huge interest in the science behind metacognition (how we learn and remember), and actively use these skills in lessons to help imprint knowledge into our students’ long term memory. We use a variety of online platforms, games, quizzes and offline projects in order to do this most effectively.
87% of our Year 11 students in 2021 reached their end of year target on results day, with an impressive 54% exceeding their expected end of year target. 100% of students said they felt more confident going into their exams, with 40% of students going on to achieve a grade 8 or 9.
